The Rules That Apply Here.

Terms of Service

These terms apply to painting work carried out by Prime Painting Experts Pty Ltd (ABN 74 697 662 052) and to the use of this website. They are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Last updated 4 November 2026.

About this website

The information on this website is general. It is not a quote or advice on your particular job, and it does not replace a proper look at the surfaces you want painted.

Quotes

Most jobs need the surfaces to be seen before a proper price can be given. The price and scope of the work should be agreed before work starts. If something different is found once work begins, such as damage hidden under old paint, the scope and price may change, and the change should be agreed with you before more work is done.

Access and safety

You agree to give safe access to the property and the areas where work is needed, to tell us about known hazards such as pets, unsafe areas or materials that may contain asbestos or lead paint, and to make sure a responsible adult is present or has authorised the work.

Rental properties

If you are a tenant, the owner or agent may need to approve the work and the cost. Please check this before booking. If you are an agent or owner booking for a tenant, tell us who will give access.

Body corporate work

For common property, the owners corporation or its manager approves the scope and price before work starts. Access arrangements for residents are agreed with the manager.

Colours and materials

Final colour choices sit with you. Once paint is tinted and applied, changes of mind about colour may carry extra cost for materials and labour. Brand and product choices are confirmed with you before work starts.

Payment

Payment terms are set out in the quote or invoice for your job.

Your rights

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If something is not right with the work, tell us and we will come back and look at it.
